A Matter of Life and Death

1946 · 1h 44m · ★ 7.8 · U

A burning RAF pilot bails out without a parachute, survives by a clerical error in heaven, and must argue for his life — and his new love — before a celestial court. Powell & Pressburger flip Technicolor earth against monochrome eternity in their most romantic English fantasy.
