Help & Support
NUX is a portfolio project, so it plays real trailers rather than full films. Here’s how to get around.
Playing something
Press Play on any film to open the player. The gear holds speed and subtitles.
My List
Add any film, game or course with its My List button. Without an account the list stays in this browser. With one, it follows you to every device you sign in on.
The Curator
Describe a mood, a film you loved or how much time you have, and the Curator picks a few titles from the catalogue and says why. New starts over, and Undo brings the conversation back for a few seconds.
Downloads
Download puts a title on your Downloads list. It’s a demonstration: the trailer itself still needs a connection.
Your account
Forgot your password? Use the Forgot password? link on the sign-in screen, and a reset link comes by email. It works once, for an hour. You can delete your account in Settings.
With a keyboard
In the player, Space plays and pauses, ← and → skip 5 seconds, ↑ and ↓ change the volume, F goes fullscreen, and ? lists the rest. In a row of films, ← and → move from one to the next.
When a message such as “Added to Downloads” offers a button, Alt+T (⌥T on a Mac) goes to it, and Escape closes the message.
Put NUX on your Home Screen
On an iPhone or iPad, open NUX in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, Chrome offers Install app in its menu. NUX then opens full screen, without the browser around it.
The Home Screen app keeps its own storage, apart from the browser’s. If you have an account, sign in there too and your list and history come with you.
